The movement was caused by a fracture of a lead water supply pipe under the floor of the house with the brown door. As the owner of the house with the brown door was not insured the insurers of the subject property decided not to repair it and paid the owners its market value before the structural damage. Interestingly the insurers did not take ownership of the house leaving the insured to do what they wanted with.
